Chapter Eleven
Her lips were soft and at first she didnât respond, but after a moment of hesitation she kissed him back. Jake groaned as she responded to him and he deepened the kiss. His fingers tangled into her hair at the back of her head and he pulled her in closer. She whimpered slightly, and he pulled back, searching her face to make sure she was okay. She looked to him with passion filled eyes and he couldnât stop himself from kissing her again.
Alexis wrapped her arms around him and savoured the kiss. She felt like she was on fire and her body was reacting to him in so many different ways. It had been a long time since she had felt desire for anyone, but what she was feeling now didnât even compare to any of her experiences before. She wanted more. She wanted to feel his skin against hers and started pulling his shirt out of the waistband of his pants. Soon she had it untucked, and to pull it over his head she had to break contact with him but only for a quick moment. Her hands explored his bare chest, that only had a small sprinkling of hair on it and she felt the taut muscles of his stomach. He was definitely fit, and she couldnât wait to see more of him.
Jake was surprised by the level of passion that Alexis was showing. She was taking control of the moment that he had been planning. He wasnât going to complain though because this proved that no matter what she said, she wanted him. The touch of her hands on his bare flesh made him shiver and he wanted desperately to feel her skin against his. He let his hands slide along her bare arms then caressed her back above her dress line. She was warm to the touch and he felt her shudder beneath his hands.
He broke their kiss and leaned forward to touch his lips to her bare shoulder. She smelled intoxicating and he wanted to see how she would taste. He gently grazed her skin with his tongue and he liked the way she tasted. Next he let his mouth wander to the strap of her dress and used his teeth to pull it down. He wanted to go slowly but his mind and body were urging him to go faster. It had been so long since he had been with a woman and he didnât want to ruin this moment. The decision the was taken out of his control though when she breathlessly whispered in his ear that she wanted him now then proceeded to nibble on his earlobe.
Jake groaned and stood up bringing her with him. Picking her up into his strong arms he carried her to the bed where he lay her down gently. He stood above her and looked at her with admiration, she was so beautiful. She grabbed him by the waistband and pulled him down to her, kissing him deeply.
